Anna Karina rose to prominence as Jean-Luc Godard’s muse

Anna Karina, an icon of French New Wave cinema, has died on the age of 79.

The Danish-French actress died in a health heart in Paris after residing with most cancers, her agent knowledgeable AFP news company.

French tradition minister Franck Riester tweeted in tribute: „This day, French cinema has been orphaned. It has lost one of its legends.“

Karina rose to prominence as the muse of her director ex-husband Jean-Luc Godard in the 1960s.

She bought her enormous ruin as a teenager, soon after sharp to Paris from her native Denmark, when she changed into noticed by Godard.
